Match Recap
Olávio Vieira dos Santos Júnior did it twice, and that was enough to sink Atlante FC at home. The Pumas forward broke through in the 42nd minute, and even though Luis Calzadilla leveled things for Atlante right before the break with a goal in stoppage time, Olávio struck again in the 72nd to settle it, 2-1 to U.N.A.M. - Pumas. Both sides arrived level on one win in five Liga MX matches, but it's the visitors who walk away with the bigger result: 13 points and a lift to 12th, their only win in the last five coming at the best possible moment. Atlante stay stuck at 16th with 11 points and a form line that reads LWDLD, still searching for consistency. Neither side has a scorer among the league's current top ten, with J. Brunetta's 26 goals still well out of reach for everyone else in the table. Watch Olávio's second, the 72nd-minute strike that broke Atlante's resistance for good, and see exactly how the Pumas forward turned a tense afternoon into a statement.
