Match Recap
Pachuca arrived in Mexico City dead last in Liga MX, winless in their last five, yet Alan Bautista ignored all of that, poking home in the 12th minute to put the visitors ahead inside Club America's own stadium. America, unbeaten in three of their last meetings with Pachuca and sitting atop the table, answered immediately after the break: Henry Martin leveled it in the 46th minute, and for a while this looked like the league leaders doing what they do. Instead, Oussama Idrissi had other plans, striking in the 74th minute to hand Pachuca a stunning 2-1 win over the division's best side, their first result worth celebrating in weeks. Neither team's top scorer troubled Liga MX's actual golden boot leader this time, but that barely matters; this was about a bottom-table side refusing to read the table. Watch Idrissi's 74th-minute winner, the goal that flipped the form book on its head, right here.
