Match Recap
Oviedo did the damage inside the first half-hour and never let AD Ceuta FC back into it until it was too late. Samuel Rodríguez de la Riva opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, and Carlos Dominguez doubled the lead just after the hour mark to put Oviedo firmly in control of this Segunda División clash. Alejandro Camacho Ramírez pulled one back for Ceuta in the 83rd minute, but the reply came too late to change anything. The result tells its own story on the table: Oviedo arrived on a five-match run with three wins and climbed to ninth with 14 points, while Ceuta, already struggling at 21st with just five points from five games, stay deep in trouble. Neither side's scorers rank among the league's top ten, where Miguel de la Fuente still leads the way with six goals, but this win keeps Oviedo's momentum rolling. Watch Dominguez's 61st-minute strike below, the moment that put the game out of Ceuta's reach before their late rally could ever really threaten it.
