Match Recap
Racing Club and Independiente shared the points in a tight Liga Profesional Argentina derby that swung on two well-timed strikes. Matías Zaracho put the hosts ahead in the 29th minute, only for Maximiliano Meza to level things up for Independiente in the 65th and send both sides home with a draw. It's a result that keeps Independiente fifth on 24 points, a touch more comfortable than Racing Club, who sit eighth on 21 after a stretch of form that reads DLWWL. The head-to-head tilts slightly toward the visitors too, with Racing winless in the two most recent meetings between these rivals. Neither Zaracho nor Meza cracks the league's scoring elite, where C. Tarragona still leads with 19, but this was never about the golden boot, it was about pride in a derby that refused to settle early. Catch both goals, Zaracho's opener and Meza's equalizer, in the highlights below and see which strike hit the net cleaner.
