Sporting JAX 0–2 Louisville City

Louisville City didn't need magic in Jacksonville, just patience, and it paid off twice in the final quarter-hour. Sporting JAX held firm for most of the night before E. Jaaskelainen broke the deadlock in the 77th minute, and Z. Duncan sealed it eight minutes later to make it 0-2. The result tells its own story in the USL Championship table: Louisville City sit fourth with 43 points and a WWDWL run that shows a side finding its rhythm, while Sporting JAX are mired in 13th, winless in five and now riding five straight losses. Neither Jaaskelainen nor Duncan cracks the league's top scoring charts, where P. Goodrum still leads with eight goals, but on this night the two Louisville City finishers did exactly the job the team's form suggested they could. For Sporting JAX, it's another night of chasing shadows against a team pulling away in the standings. Watch how Jaaskelainen finally unlocks the deadlock in the 77th, and how quickly Duncan doubles the damage just minutes later to put the game away.
