Match Recap
Petrolul Ploiesti and Sepsi OSK Sfantu Gheorghe shared the points in a tight Liga I draw, with both goals landing inside an eight-minute window either side of the half-hour mark. Teixeira Leo put the home side ahead in the 26th minute, finishing a move that had Petrolul's fans sensing a third win in four games, but Sepsi hit straight back through Doru Andrei just eight minutes later to level things at 1-1. The result nudges Petrolul to 19 points and fourth place, continuing a form run of LWDWW that shows a team capable of grinding out results even when they don't get the win. Sepsi, sitting 11th on 13 points with a shakier LLWLW stretch behind them, will take the away point as a small step in the right direction. Neither Teixeira Leo nor Doru Andrei threatens league top scorer A. Cordea's tally of 16, but both strikes mattered plenty in the moment. Watch how Teixeira Leo worked the opener in the 26th minute, then see Doru Andrei's sharp reply just minutes later in the video highlights below.
