Match Recap
Dinamo Bucuresti let a two-goal lead at CFR 1907 Cluj slip through their fingers, settling for a 2-2 draw in Liga I that feels more like a missed opportunity for the league leaders. Andrei Cordea put the hosts ahead in the 26th minute before Cristian Ignat doubled it on 61, but Catalin Cirjan and D. Zandbergen struck inside three minutes late on, in the 78th and 81st, to drag Dinamo level. The table tells the real story: Dinamo arrived top with 30 points and four wins from five, riding a DWWWW form streak, while Cluj sat ninth on 17 with only two wins in five. On recent head-to-head history, Cluj have never lost to Dinamo in their last three meetings, winning once and drawing twice, and this result extends that pattern rather than breaking it. None of the four scorers rank among the league's top ten, where J. Lukic leads with 18 goals, but Ignat's second-half strike and Zandbergen's late leveler both carry real weight in a four-goal finish. Watch how Cluj's defense cracked in the final ten minutes, and how Zandbergen snatched the point with an 81st-minute finish Dinamo will be relieved to have.”
