Match Recap
Lanus came away from Platense with a clean 1-0 win, the only goal arriving in the 29th minute through Allan Steven Wlk Duré, and in the Liga Profesional Argentina table it tells the real story. Lanus rolled into this one on a five-game run of WDWWW, sitting sixth with 24 points, while Platense are mired in 12th on 16, winless across their last five with a DDLLD stretch that shows no sign of breaking. The head-to-head offered little hope for the hosts either, with Platense yet to beat Lanus in their last two meetings, one draw and one loss. Wlk Duré's strike, slotted home before the half-hour mark, was enough to settle a contest that never really swung Platense's way. For Lanus, it's another step up the standings; for Platense, another afternoon searching for answers at home. One goal, thirty minutes in, and a visiting side that simply didn't let go. Watch how Wlk Duré found the breakthrough in the 29th minute and sealed it for Lanus.
