Herrera 2–2 Veraguas

Herrera had gone five Liga Panameña de Fútbol matches without a single win this season, and Veraguas had beaten them in both of their previous encounters. A 2-2 draw at Herrera, then, carries far more weight than the bare scoreline suggests. Veraguas, fourth in the standings on 25 points, took the lead through C. Hernandez in the 23rd minute, only for D. Castillo to pull the hosts level ten minutes later and keep them in the game. The visitors arrived having won three of their last five outings and leave with one point they probably did not plan for. Herrera still have no wins from their opening five, but holding a side with 25 points and recent form on their side is a different kind of result for a club that had never taken anything from this fixture. Castillo's 33rd-minute finish is the goal that made it possible, and it is the one to find in the highlights.
