Match Recap
Rosenborg and Sandefjord shared the points in a tense Eliteserien draw that Amin Chiakha had on track to go Rosenborg's way inside five minutes. The league's top scorer did exactly what the league's top scorer does, poking home his 14th of the season to put the hosts ahead early. Sandefjord, who dropped to 11th despite a decent WLDDW run, needed a response, and Vetle Walle Egeli delivered one with 17 minutes left, slotting home to level it at 1-1 and deny Rosenborg a sixth win in their last five. It is the first time these two sides have met recently, and fittingly it ended all square, just like their only previous meeting. For a Rosenborg side riding four wins in five and sitting fifth in the table, the draw is a minor stumble, but Chiakha's name on the scoresheet again is a reminder of why he leads the Eliteserien charts. Watch Chiakha's clinical fifth-minute finish and Egeli's leveler that snatched a point back for Sandefjord in the highlights below.
