Veraguas 1–1 Sporting San Miguelito

A late equalizer salvaged a point for Sporting San Miguelito, but it was Veraguas who had the last word. R. de Leon leveled things in the 63rd minute after A. Castillo had put the visitors ahead just 15 minutes into the Liga Panameña de Fútbol clash, and the 1-1 finish keeps Veraguas comfortably placed fourth on 25 points with three wins from five, riding a WDWWL run of form. Sporting San Miguelito, tenth on 18 points and just one win in five, will feel the share of the spoils was the better outcome given their LWLDL stretch coming in. History also favored the hosts: Veraguas won the only previous meeting between these sides. Neither side could find a winner after Castillo's early strike was canceled out, leaving both to settle for a share of the points. Head to the video to see de Leon's leveler drop in on the hour mark and decide for yourself whether Veraguas deserved more.
