Hoyos put Sporting Cristal in front after just 11 minutes and never looked back, finishing with a brace as the Lima side dismantled Sport Huancayo 4-1 in the Peruvian Primera División to reverse a defeat from their only previous meeting. H. Barcos, fifth in the league's scoring charts with 11 goals, added a second before halftime to make it comfortable long before J. J. Gimenez Delgado pulled one back for Huancayo on 63 minutes.
