Herrera 0–1 Deportivo Universitario

Deportivo Universitario kept their momentum rolling in the Liga Panameña de Fútbol, snatching a 0-1 victory away at Herrera to make it back-to-back wins after a rocky three-match losing skid. The only goal came on the hour mark, and it arrived with a delicious twist: R. Herrera, playing for the visitors, slotted past the home side that shares his name, giving Deportivo Universitario all three points with a single, decisive strike. For Club Herrera, the afternoon simply added to a grim run, five games without a win now and a form line reading LLDLL that tells its own story. Head-to-head, Herrera have yet to beat this opponent in their last two meetings, and Sunday's result did nothing to change that. Deportivo Universitario climb to 14 points, their revival very much alive. Pull up the replay and watch R. Herrera's 60th-minute finish, because it is as cleanly poetic as goals get.
