El Paso Locomotive 1–1 FC Tulsa

El Paso Locomotive's perfect start took a hit at home, as leaders of the USL Championship were pegged back to a 1-1 draw by FC Tulsa. L. Dorsey struck early for the visitors, finding the net in just the 8th minute to silence the home crowd before it could get going. El Paso, unbeaten and flying at the top of the table on 46 points from five straight wins, needed an answer, and R. Avila delivered one nine minutes later to level things at 1-1. Tulsa arrived sitting sixth with 37 points, their DLDWW form a mixed bag, but this point on the road against the division's benchmark side is a statement result regardless of table position. E. Davis III remains the league's top scorer with six goals, though neither Dorsey nor Avila cracked that conversation on this occasion. Two goals inside the first quarter-hour set the tone for a game that never let either side settle. Watch how Dorsey's 8th-minute strike and Avila's quickfire reply unfolded in the highlights below.
