Match Recap
Adil Bourabaa needed just three minutes to get Le Mans up and running, and Habib Diallo doubled the lead early in the second half to put real distance between his side and Lorient. Isak Jensen pulled one back for the visitors in the 78th minute, but it arrived too late to change the outcome as Le Mans held on for a 2-1 win in Ligue 1. The result nudges Le Mans up from 14th, snapping a run of form (DDLD) that had yet to produce a victory this season, while Lorient, sitting 9th on five points with a win already banked, will feel this one got away from them. Neither side has E. Lepaul's 23 league goals to call on, but Diallo's strike showed why he can carry a Ligue 1 attack on his own. Watch how Bourabaa punished Lorient inside the opening 180 seconds, and how Diallo's 57th-minute finish turned a nervy lead into a commanding one.
