Match Recap
Athletic Club arrived at Balaídos without a single point from their opening two La Liga games, then tore the match open with two goals in the space of 120 seconds. A. Berenguer struck in the 20th minute, and before Celta Vigo could catch their breath, R. Navarro made it 2-0 in the 22nd. That rapid double effectively ended the contest before the half-hour mark, leaving the hosts, who had gone unbeaten in their last two meetings with Athletic Club, with no answer all afternoon. Celta sit on just one point from two outings themselves, and the Galician side's afternoon only grew grimmer as Athletic held firm and took all three points back to the Basque Country. The two-minute blitz that settled this one is exactly what the highlights are here for.
