Inter Lagos 1–1 Kano Pillars

Kano Pillars left Lagos with a point that means far more to them than to their hosts. F. Ubong's 32nd-minute strike settled into a 1-1 draw with Inter Lagos, and on current NPFL form that shape fits: Kano arrived third with seven points from three games and a WWD run, while Inter Lagos sit 18th on three points and have won just once in four, a WLLL slide this result does nothing to fix. Neither side could find a second goal after Ubong's opener, and with V. Mbaoma still the league's top scorer on 13 and untouched by either team on the night, this was a game decided by one moment rather than a flood of chances. For struggling Inter Lagos, a share of the spoils against in-form opposition is a result they'll take. For Kano, it's another building block in a top-three push.
