Match Recap
Luciano waited until stoppage time to settle it, and even then Remo wouldn't go quietly. Jean Lucas had put Bahia ahead in the 20th minute, but Remo dug in until Luciano struck in the first minute of injury time to make it 2-1, only for Vitor Bueno to pull one back in the sixth minute of added time and turn a comfortable lead into a nervy finish. Bahia held on, stretching their form to three wins from their last five matches and sitting fifth in the Serie A table on 43 points, a sharp contrast to a Remo side rooted at 19th and still without a win in their last five games. The result also flips the script from their previous meeting, which Bahia lost. Luciano's goal was his 17th of the season, enough to keep him among the league's top ten scorers, just below leader Kaio Jorge. Watch how he found the gap in the 91st minute to break Remo's resistance.
