Nasarawa United 1–0 Niger Tornadoes

Nasarawa United ground out a scrappy 1-0 win over Niger Tornadoes in an NPFL clash that mattered more for form than for flair. Both sides came in stuck in mid-table trouble, Nasarawa sitting 16th on four points from five games with a stop-start LDLWL run, Tornadoes just above them in 13th on five points and DLDLW form. Neither team had scored freely and this game didn't change that story, but a single goal was enough to flip momentum for the hosts. It's also the latest chapter in a lopsided head-to-head: Nasarawa hold a perfect record in their last meeting with Tornadoes, and this result stretches that streak further. With V. Mbaoma still running away with the NPFL scoring charts on 13 goals, this was a reminder that not every three points needs a headline name attached. Nasarawa's players and coaching staff will take the result and the bragging rights over their rivals, while Tornadoes drop another game without a win against a team they simply can't seem to solve. Watch how Nasarawa's solitary goal went in and see the defending that made it stand up for the full ninety.
