Cucuta 2–1 Llaneros

Cucuta wasted little time, with Jaime Peralta breaking through inside six minutes, and Leider Berdugo doubled the lead right before halftime, sending Cucuta into the break in control at home. Llaneros clawed one back through Yorleys Mena in the 57th minute, but couldn't find the equalizer, and Cucuta held on for a 2-1 win in Primera A. It's a rare bright spot for a home side that had won just once in its last five, sitting 19th in the table, while Llaneros arrive in similarly rough form despite occupying 14th with 22 points. The two sides had met just once before, splitting the spoils in a draw, so this result tips the head-to-head Cucuta's way for the first time. Neither side has H. Rodallega, the division's 18-goal top scorer, so the damage came from the supporting cast instead, with Peralta's early strike setting the tone and Berdugo's stoppage-time finish proving decisive. Mena's response gave Llaneros hope, but it arrived too late to change the outcome. Watch how Berdugo's 45+3 strike unraveled Llaneros right before the break in the goal highlights below.
