Match Recap
Aris looked set to leave Ypsonas empty-handed until R. Effaghe struck in the 84th minute to snatch a 1-0 win in the 1. Division. It was the away side's first goal in this fixture in two meetings against Krasava Ypsonas, a series they'd previously split with a win and a draw apiece before this trip finally tipped in their favor. Effaghe's strike is no small feat either, the forward now sits third in the league's scoring charts with 11 goals, still chasing R. Mmaee's tally of 21 at the top. For Krasava Ypsonas, the defeat leaves them bottom of the table with two straight losses and not a point to show from their opening two games, while Aris move up to 12th with a solitary point from a similarly rocky start. Neither side has found rhythm yet this season, but Effaghe's late poacher's finish was worth the wait. Watch how the strike unfolds in the highlights below.
