Match Recap
FC Krasnodar's unbeaten start to the Russian Premier League season was almost derailed by a Konstantin Maradishvili strike just 13 minutes in, but Juan Manuel Boselli rescued a point with an 87th-minute equalizer to keep the league leaders' record intact. The hosts had gone four wins from four before this draw, sitting top on 19 points, and Akron — winless and rooted in the bottom half on 4 points — looked set to pull off a genuine upset until Boselli intervened with three minutes of normal time remaining. It is the second time these two sides have met, and while Krasnodar claimed victory in their only previous encounter, tonight they had to settle for a share of the spoils. Four wins from five still keeps Krasnodar at the summit, but it was Boselli's late header — or strike, or tap-in — that stopped the damage. Watch to see exactly how he kept the leaders level.
