Match Recap
Qabala needed just eight minutes to get going, with I. Akinade opening the scoring away from home, and the response from Araz never quite matched the visitors' bite. M. Mara leveled things on 36 minutes to send the sides level into the break, but Qabala reasserted themselves fast, I. Amoah restoring the lead three minutes into the second half and it held from there. The final 1-2 lifts Qabala to a first win in five, snapping a four-match losing run and nudging them to 4 points and 10th in the Premyer Liqa table. Araz, by contrast, remain winless through five games, rooted in 12th with just 2 points and a run of four defeats in their last five. The two sides had split their last two meetings evenly, one win apiece, but this one swung on two sharp finishes either side of halftime rather than a close契 contest. Watch how Amoah's 48th-minute strike settled it just as Araz were finding their rhythm again.
