Match Recap
Bologna had no business losing this one, not with a 15th-place start to the day, but Nicolo Casale and Federico Bernardeschi made sure the table didn't tell the whole story. Casale broke the deadlock in the 57th minute, finishing off a Cagliari side that came in on a three-game winning run, and Bernardeschi sealed it with 10 minutes left to turn a nervy lead into a comfortable 2-0 away from home. It's a result that flips the recent script between these two: Cagliari had taken the points the last time they met, but this Serie A trip belonged entirely to Bologna. Neither scorer sits among the league's current top ten, where D. Malen still leads the way on 20 goals, but on this night it didn't matter who was supposed to be dangerous. Cagliari's home form, four wins and a draw in their last five, counted for nothing once Bernardeschi found the net. Watch how he worked the space for that 80th-minute strike, the moment that turned a nervy lead into a job well done.
