Match Recap
Anastasios Douvikas turned this one into a personal show, scoring twice inside eleven second-half minutes to send Como past Sassuolo 2-0 in Serie A. He broke the deadlock in the 49th and doubled it in the 60th, and neither goal needed much help from anyone else on the pitch. Como came in fifth with 14 points off a WDLWW run, and this result keeps that momentum rolling, while Sassuolo sit 13th with 8 points after a stretch of just one win in five. The head-to-head leaned Como's way too, with one win in their last two meetings against this opponent. Sassuolo had no answer once Douvikas got going, and with D. Malen still topping the Serie A scoring charts on 20, Douvikas just reminded everyone he can do serious damage in bursts. Watch both strikes from the 49th and 60th minute below and see exactly how he carved Sassuolo open twice in the same half.
