Match Recap
Anderlecht looked beaten at Cercle Brugge until the final minutes turned unkind for the hosts. A. Manneh had given Cercle Brugge an 11th-minute lead, and for most of the match that score held, enough for the Jupiler Pro League strugglers to dream of a rare win. Then T. Bentayeb leveled in the 86th minute, and three minutes into stoppage time A. Bertaccini snatched the winner, turning a losing position into a 2-1 comeback. For Cercle Brugge, bottom of the pack at 17th with just three points and a run reading LDLLL, it's another gut punch. Anderlecht, fifth with 13 points on a WWDWL stretch, keep climbing, and the result also flips the script on their head-to-head, since Cercle Brugge had won the only previous meeting between these two sides. Bertaccini's stoppage-time strike is the goal that decided everything, watch how he found the net in the 90th-minute chaos that swung this one in Anderlecht's favor.
