Match Recap
Kylian Mbappé bookended a five-goal demolition with a brace, scoring in the 14th minute and then sealing the win deep into stoppage time to remind La Liga exactly why he leads the scoring charts with 40 goals. Real Madrid were ruthless from the off, with Álvaro Fernández Carreras adding a second just three minutes after Mbappé's opener and Jude Bellingham driving in a third before the break to put the tie beyond doubt. Sergio Camello pulled one back for Rayo Vallecano in the 51st minute, but that was the closest Los Franjirrojos got to making a game of it. The win pushes Real Madrid to 12 points from five La Liga matches, four wins in their last four, and they remain unbeaten across both meetings with Rayo this season. Mbappé's 90th-minute finish was the kind of ruthless punctuation that turns a comfortable win into a statement. Watch it.
