Match Recap
Farul Constanta needed just 24 minutes to put this one away, and Denis Alibec started it himself in the 16th before Mikael Ahlinvi doubled the lead eight minutes later. FC Voluntari's Stefan Cestic pulled one back in the 66th, but it was never enough to turn the game around. The result tells the wider story too: Farul climb to 7th on 20 points with three wins in their last five, while Voluntari sit 15th on 8 points and are still winless in five, their form reading five straight losses. Alibec's goal was his tenth of the Liga I season, enough to keep him inside the league's top ten scorers behind leader J. Lukić's 18. For Voluntari, there's no hiding from a fifth defeat in a row. Watch how Alibec and Ahlinvi tore through the home defense inside the opening half-hour, and see if Cestic's 66th-minute strike was close enough to have made this a real contest.
