Match Recap
Mohammed Ihattaren was the story as Fortuna Sittard edged a five-goal Eredivisie thriller at ADO Den Haag, 2-3. The playmaker opened the scoring in the 29th minute, then Lequincio Zeefuik doubled the lead five minutes later to give the visitors a commanding first-half cushion. ADO Den Haag responded through Yannick Fereira Eduardo in the 59th, but Ihattaren killed the momentum almost immediately, restoring the two-goal margin in the 62nd. It looked done. Then Jesse Bal curled one in at 90+1 to make it a frantic finish, only for the final whistle to come before ADO could find a leveler. It leaves the home side with just one point from four Eredivisie games, winless and sliding toward the wrong end of the table. Fortuna Sittard bank seven points and move back into the top half. Pull up the 62nd-minute goal, the one that came right as ADO were gathering themselves, and you will see exactly why Ihattaren made the difference.
