Match Recap
Zaglebie Lubin finally ended a winless run against GKS Katowice, but had to cling on until the final whistle to seal a 2-1 Ekstraklasa victory in front of their home supporters. Kamil Nowogonski gave Lubin the lead just before the break, and Michalis Kosidis doubled it on 78 minutes to put the result seemingly beyond doubt. Then GKS substitute Arkadiusz Jedrych drove one in at 90+4, suddenly making this anything but comfortable. Zaglebie held firm, banking three points that lift them to 12 and continue a five-game sequence that reads WDDDW. It matters more given the head-to-head record: in their two previous meetings Lubin had managed just one draw and one defeat against this opponent, making the win all the sweeter. Jedrych's desperate late strike with virtually the last kick of the game is the moment you cannot miss on replay.
