Match Recap
M. Salah needed just 48 minutes to put Trabzonspor in control, scoring twice to sink Istanbul Basaksehir 2-1 in the Süper Lig and keep the Black Sea side unbeaten after two games. Salah opened it early in the 8th minute, but Eldor Shomurodov — second in the league's scoring charts with 15 goals, one behind Osimhen — levelled for Basaksehir on 19 minutes to remind everyone why he's among the most dangerous strikers in Turkey right now. Salah's response came three minutes into the second half, a decisive finish that settled the tie. Trabzonspor's head-to-head record against this opponent tells its own story: unbeaten across their last two meetings, one win and one draw, and that experience showed in how they absorbed the equaliser and came back out after the break with purpose. Hit play to see whether Salah's second was the finish it sounds like.
