Match Recap
João Guilherme ran the show at Sporting CP, scoring twice to drag Academico Viseu to a 2-1 win that flips the form table on its head. The home side had looked comfortable in fifth place in the Primeira Liga table before the visitors struck in the 24th minute through Guilherme, who found the net again in the 74th after Luis Suárez had briefly leveled things for Sporting CP in the 62nd. Suárez's goal was his latest in a season where he already sits top of the league's scoring charts with 29, but even the division's deadliest finisher couldn't stop Viseu riding their momentum, now winners in four of their last five, past a Sporting side whose own strong recent form (three wins in five) wasn't enough on the day. Guilherme's brace turned a routine away trip into the story of the round, and the second strike, the one that settled it with just over fifteen minutes left, is the moment worth rewinding to see exactly how he beat the Sporting CP defense for a second time.
