Match Recap
Sporting CP needed a response after SC Braga struck first, and they delivered in style. Rui Silva's 41st-minute finish had Braga ahead at the break, but Luis Suárez, the Primeira Liga's top scorer with 28 goals, dragged Sporting level on the hour before Bernardo Caltabiano Parise Fontes and Rodrigo Zalazar turned a scare into a rout. Three goals in 21 minutes flipped the match on its head, and Sporting walked out with a 3-1 comeback win that tells its own story in the table: third on 15 points with five wins from their last five unbeaten, against a Braga side sitting sixth on 11. The two sides had drawn their only previous meeting, so this result breaks new ground in the fixture. For Sporting, it's their third different scorer in the turnaround alone, a sign of just how many ways they can hurt you. Braga will wonder how a one-goal cushion vanished so fast. Watch how Suárez's equalizer changes the entire tempo of the game in the goal-by-goal highlights.
