Plateau United 2–0 Inter Lagos

Plateau United shut out Inter Lagos 2-0 in a bruising NPFL clash where the only goal that mattered arrived deep into the second half, G. Monday breaking the deadlock in the 56th minute. It settled a match between two sides heading in opposite directions in the table: Plateau United sit seventh with eight points from five games, two wins and just one loss in their last five, while Inter Lagos slide further into trouble in 17th, still stuck on a single win all season after three straight defeats. None of this match's scorers threaten V. Mbaoma's grip on the NPFL scoring charts, where the league leader sits on 13, but Monday's strike didn't need to be spectacular to be decisive, just well timed. Plateau United ground out exactly what their form suggested they deserved, and Inter Lagos never found an answer. Watch Monday pick his moment in the 56th minute and end Inter Lagos' resistance for good.
