Match Recap
Coritiba and Botafogo shared the points in a tight Serie A draw that saw both sides trade blows early. Marçal put the home side ahead in the 22nd minute, only for Danilo dos Santos de Oliveira to level things up for Botafogo twelve minutes later, and that's how it stayed. Neither club could find a winner in the second half, leaving Coritiba on 38 points in 10th and Botafogo just behind on 35 in 13th, with both still searching for consistency after rough recent runs. It's familiar territory for these two: their only previous meeting also ended level, and this result continues that pattern, a fixture where goals come but victories don't. With Kaio Jorge leading the league's scoring charts elsewhere, neither Marçal nor Danilo cracked the top ten this time, but both strikes carried real weight on the day. Two well-taken finishes, two teams still finding their form, one honest draw. Catch both goals, Marçal's opener and Danilo's leveler, in the highlights below.
