Samuel Lino bookended the night with a goal in the 13th minute and another in the 86th as Flamengo turned a Rio derby into a statement, beating Botafogo 3-0 in Serie A to stay firmly in the title picture. J. Carrascal added a third in stoppage time, but it was Lino who set the tone and closed it out, leaving Botafogo without a foothold for almost the entire match.
