Match Recap
Goztepe were seconds away from a first win of the Süper Lig season when Rizespor's E. Bekiroglu drilled home in the third minute of stoppage time to salvage a 2-2 draw. A. Kurtulan had given the visitors the ideal start with a goal inside two minutes, only for Goztepe to claw their way in front and hold that lead deep into added time before Bekiroglu's late strike ripped it away. It's a cruel blow for the hosts, who remain without a win in the Süper Lig this season, sitting 17th with three points from five matches. Rizespor, ninth on 10 points, leave with a share of the spoils despite Goztepe having won the only previous meeting between these two sides. Two teams heading in opposite directions produced a finish few saw coming. Catch Bekiroglu's stoppage-time leveler, the goal that turned a Goztepe win into a draw, in the highlights below.
