Match Recap
Franculino delivered a double, and Trabzonspor needed every bit of it to survive a goal fest in Finland. The Turkish side looked in control early when Paul Onuachu struck inside three minutes and Mohammed Salah doubled it right before halftime, then Franculino made it three just after the break in this UEFA Europa Conference League clash. KuPS refused to fold, with Peter Pennanen pulling one back on the hour, and the chaos only grew from there. Franculino added his second in the first minute of stoppage time to restore the cushion, but Gustav Engvall snatched a late reply in the sixth added minute to make the final score 4-2. Sitting 27th in the standings against KuPS down in 12th, Trabzonspor's class showed when it mattered, even if their defense gave Finnish side KuPS plenty of openings along the way. Six goals, a brace from the headline act, and a finish that stayed open until the final whistle. Watch every strike, including both of Franculino's and Engvall's stoppage-time consolation, in the highlights below.
