Doma United 2–2 Plateau United

Doma United's flying start hit a speed bump. The NPFL pacesetters, riding a three-game winning streak into kickoff, could only share the points as Plateau United held them to a 2-2 draw. Doma remain top of the table with nine points from four games, their LWWW form underlining exactly the run that carried them to the summit, but this stalemate is proof nobody in this league is untouchable in September. Plateau United, sixth on seven points off a stop-start WDWL sequence, leave with a result that outperforms their current standing. Neither side's scorers troubled the NPFL's leading marksman, V. Mbaoma, who still sits alone on 13 for the season, a reminder of how far off the pace the rest of the division remains. Four goals shared evenly between two ambitious sides made for a scrap worth revisiting, catch both teams trading blows in the highlights below.
