Match Recap
Santos Laguna's Liga MX season hit a new low as Guadalajara Chivas left with a 1-0 win, R. Marin's 75th-minute goal the lone moment of quality in a tight and often frustrating contest. Santos sit rooted in 17th place with zero points from four straight defeats, a start that has left the home support searching for answers. Chivas, seven points clear of Santos and sitting eighth with two wins from four games, came in having split their last two meetings with this opponent one apiece, but there was no reversal from the home side this time. Marin struck with 15 minutes remaining and Guadalajara Chivas managed the game to the final whistle without alarm. How that goal went in, and exactly why Santos Laguna could not find an answer in the time that remained, is the story the highlights will tell you.
