Match Recap
Instituto Cordoba scored three times in a frantic second half to see off Cordoba rivals Talleres Cordoba in the Liga Profesional Argentina. G. Cerato broke the deadlock in the 50th minute, and eight minutes later F. R. Alarcon doubled the lead, sending Instituto's home crowd into a frenzy. Talleres, who sit fourth in the table against Instituto's ninth, hit back through A. Maidana in the 66th, but Instituto had the answer: E. Unsain restored the two-goal cushion in the 80th to seal it 3-1. The result also flips the recent script between these rivals: Instituto had failed to beat Talleres in either of their last two meetings, drawing one and losing the other. Instituto head into their next round full of confidence off three wins in five, while Talleres have managed only one in the same stretch despite their higher league position. Watch every strike, from Cerato's opener to Unsain's decisive 80th-minute finish, in the highlights below.
