Match Recap
Talleres led, then watched it slip away. Agustin Alvarez Martinez put Talleres Cordoba ahead in the 32nd minute, but Defensa y Justicia answered almost immediately after the break through Leandro Fernandez, and the game stayed level until Juan Manuel Gutierrez struck in the 88th to complete the turnaround and seal a 2-1 win in the Liga Profesional Argentina. It's the kind of result Defensa have made a habit of lately, riding a five-game run of one loss to climb to 10th on 19 points, while Talleres, still fourth with 26, now have just one win in their last five. The head-to-head only adds to the sting for the home side, who had won the only previous meeting between these two clubs. Three goals, three different scorers, and a winner that arrived with the clock running down, this one swung late and hard. Catch Gutierrez's 88th-minute decider and every other goal from Cordoba in the video highlights below.
