PSIM Yogyakarta 1–2 PSM Makassar

PSM Makassar dragged themselves off the bottom of the Liga 1 table with a come-from-behind win at PSIM Yogyakarta, breaking a goalless deadlock through F. Aditia in the 50th minute before S. Jevtoski doubled the lead on 66. PSIM pulled one back through Ze Valente in the 82nd, but it was too little, too late for the home side. Neither team arrives with form to boast about, both winless through four rounds, but this result nudges PSM up to 15th on 2 points while PSIM stay rooted at 16th with just 1. It extends PSM's unbeaten run over their hosts too, having won the only previous meeting between these two. With the league's top scorer D. da Silva watching on from elsewhere, it was Jevtoski's strike on 66 minutes that settled this one, a composed finish that turned a nervy away day into three crucial points.
