Toluca and Atletico San Luis shared the points after a Liga MX draw that swung late. Érick Gutiérrez broke the deadlock in the 67th minute, only for Rafael Llorente to pull San Luis level six minutes later and snatch a share of the spoils. The result does little to change the gap between the two sides: Toluca sit third with 20 points, while San Luis remain down in 15th on 12, and this is now the second of their last two meetings to end level, with Toluca still unbeaten in that short series. Neither side can claim the league's top scorer, J. Brunetta, who leads the way with 27 for someone else, but Gutiérrez and Llorente both made sure their names were on the scoresheet when it mattered. A tight, even contest between a top-flight side and one scrapping in the lower half, settled by two sharp finishes seven minutes apart.
