Match Recap
Nathan Nartey needed just eight minutes to stun Anderlecht in front of their own fans, and Lyon never looked back in this UEFA Europa League clash. Kenji Nakamura doubled the visitors' lead in the 22nd minute, turning what looked like a routine home fixture into a statement road win. Anderlecht had arrived on a five-match winning streak, but Lyon's fast start exposed just how fragile that run was against sharper opposition. Marko Cvetkovic pulled one back for the hosts in the 61st minute, sparking a spell of pressure that never produced an equalizer. Lyon held on for a 2-1 away win that snaps Anderlecht's momentum and lifts spirits in Lyon's own Europa League campaign. Watch how Nartey's early strike set the tone, then see Nakamura's clinical 22nd-minute finish that put the tie out of reach before Anderlecht could ever settle.
