Match Recap
Rennes needed a 90th-minute strike from Abdelhamid Aït Boudlal to turn this one around in the Europa League, and it capped a proper comeback. OFI had led since the 10th minute, when Taxiarchis Fountas slotted home to put the Greek side in front and seemingly in control. Rennes stayed quiet until Mahamadou Nagida leveled things at 76', dragging the home crowd back into it, and then Aït Boudlal snatched all three points right at the death. The result flips the early group picture: OFI arrive with a win and sit 13th on three points, while Rennes, who'd drawn their opener, climb off the foot of the table to one point from their first victory. Neither side has a recent head-to-head edge to lean on here, and none of the night's scorers crack the league's current top ten, led by K. Zachariassen's eight goals. What matters is the ending: a 2-1 Rennes win built on a stoppage-time gut punch. Watch Aït Boudlal's 90th-minute winner land, and see exactly how OFI's early lead slipped away.
