Match Recap
Erling Haaland did it again, but this time he needed help. The Manchester City striker struck twice, either side of the hour mark, as the Premier League leaders survived a scare from bottom-half Ipswich at the Etihad. City raced into a false sense of control when Phil Foden opened the scoring in the 19th minute, only for Daizen Maeda to level two minutes later and expose the gap between the table's top and bottom. Haaland's double restored order and sent City to a perfect five wins from five, while Ipswich's patchy form continued despite Zian Flemming's stoppage-time consolation making it 3-2. Five goals, two red-hot City forwards, and a losing side that never stopped pushing, right up to the 90th minute. Haaland now sits on 37 league goals and counting. Watch both of his strikes, Foden's opener, and Flemming's dramatic late reply in the full highlights below.
