Match Recap
Osasuna and Rayo Vallecano shared the points in a La Liga scrap that swung on two sharp finishes. Ante Budimir put Osasuna ahead in the 16th minute, but Sergio Camello dragged Rayo level just five minutes into the second half, and neither side could find a second. The stalemate is a bigger blow for Osasuna, who had actually beaten Rayo in both of their last two meetings and would have fancied a third. Instead both clubs sit level on seven points, with Rayo's 11th place edging out Osasuna's 13th, and their contrasting recent form, Osasuna riding a two-game winning streak after three straight losses, Rayo up and down with a win-loss-win-loss-draw run, tells you this result could have gone either way. Neither Budimir nor Camello features among the league's top scorers, with Kylian Mbappe still well clear at the top, but their goals settled a genuinely even contest. Catch Budimir's opener and Camello's leveler, two well-taken finishes five minutes apart, in the highlights.
