Match Recap
Austin led for all of three minutes. Jorge Alastuey broke the deadlock in the 52nd minute, but Real Salt Lake answered almost instantly: Saba Lobjanidze leveled it by the 55th, then Morgan Guilavogui put Real Salt Lake ahead for good in the 61st, turning a one-goal deficit into a 2-1 comeback win inside nine frantic minutes. The result extends Austin's miserable record against this opponent, still winless in their last three meetings against Real Salt Lake, with two losses and a draw to show for it, and deepens their Major League Soccer slump. Austin sit 14th with just one win in five games, a WLLLD stretch that looks grim next to Real Salt Lake's WWDLW form and climb to 10th on 39 points. For Real Salt Lake, it is the kind of road response that keeps their season on track. For Austin, it is another night undone in a nine-minute window. Watch how quickly Lobjanidze and Guilavogui turned this one around, two goals, nine minutes, game over.
