Match Recap
Franco Ayunta put on a show at Delfin SC, scoring a hat-trick to drag his side past Manta FC in a six-goal thriller in Liga Pro. Ayunta opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, but Jose Enrique Angulo Caicedo answered with two quick strikes either side of half-time to flip the game for the visitors. Delfin SC trailed, then found another gear: Ayunta leveled with a stoppage-time header before half-time, then struck again in the 74th minute to complete his treble and turn the game on its head. Kevin Ushina sealed it deep into injury time, the sixth goal of an afternoon that neither side's recent form suggested was coming, with both teams sitting just one win apiece from their last five outings before kickoff. Delfin SC also settled the score in this fixture, having split the two previous meetings with Manta FC one win each. Six goals, a hat-trick, and a last-gasp finish from Ushina, watch every one of them, especially Ayunta's stoppage-time leveler, in the highlights below.
